METROPIA
In collaboration with Metro de Madrid and its Historical Heritage Department, we have worked on the creation of the experience we have come to call METROPIA.
Metropía begins its first phase as a heritage recovery project focused on unique spaces of great historical significance, through the implementation of 3D digital architecture rehabilitation projects. The aim is to bring to light and make available to the public a digital universe of immersive and interactive three-dimensional exhibition environments. Through the recovery of unique and previously unknown spaces, Metro Museums expands its offerings by adding virtual 3D exhibition halls to the five existing physical museums.
Through the Metro Museums website — https://museosmetromadrid.es/ — you can visit the old power substations that originally supplied electricity to the metro lines and that now serve as virtual exhibition spaces, accessible via the web, mobile phone, or VR headsets.

You can also access unknown and inaccessible spaces, such as the Noviciado corridor, which used to connect to Plaza de España station and is no longer in use today.
